Doug is in Hong Kong as we speak and will fly to Fuzhou in a couple of days.I am so excited to hear his report when he returns. I am busy packing and preparing as well as looking for the best deals on airline tickets!Im also preparing for Christmas and writing thank you's to our donors who have been so generous! We praise the Lord for all of you who support us with friendship, prayer, and donations. We only have 500.00 in monthly donations left to raise!WOW! When God wants to do something...he DOES it! Thanks to Him who provides for his people in every Region and corner of the Earth.
Doug has been spending precious time with Carly and Liza(daughters in College)getting together with them once a week for a dinner or coffee date. Nate, Isaac and Renee and I have had fun exploring Minneapolis together recently and are planning our Christmas bake-off contest!Isaac's adoption papers are all official and his new passport is ordered!It will be hard to leave family in Minneapolis and Iowa as we will live most of the year in China.It has however brought our family closer than we have ever been. God is so faithful.Please pray for visa and airline ticket favor!Bless you all.

Getting Ready
This is our first post.....
With just 78 days left at Minnesota Teen Challenge, we spent the day walking in the Walk For Hope benefit around Lake Harriet in Minneapolis. 1,500 people attended... 500 more than last year. Kelley has been busy packing the house and downsizing further. We like to say we are getting our lives down to six suitcases.
It's all becoming so real! Kelley put her two month notice in at the salon, and Doug is starting to gear up for his preliminary trip to China. Family times are precious as we all sense our departure date drawing near.
Please pray for our fund raising efforts these next few months. We've raised two-thirds of our budget to date and are activily praying for monthly supporters.
